We were pleased that our ‘Stepping Up’ programme to support children’s transition from pre-school to primary school was able to provide starting school packs to all of the children in our early years services and primary schools starting school this September.
The packs included a picture book with a story about starting school, colouring and pattern workbooks to encourage fine motor skills, scissors, crayons, pencils, and lots more!
The packs were distributed to 286 children across the Grangegorman ABC area.
